“When that shutter clicks, anything else that can be done afterward is not worth consideration.” - Edward Steichen

WHAT IS FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY?

Everybody defines fine art photography differently.  At Photographers Without Borders we define it as the unaltered photographic image of a moment in time.  We expect all of the photographs we work with to be free from digital or darkroom enhancement beyond normal image processing such as color balance or exposure correction.

We do acknowledge that photography can take on many forms, especially in the age of digital photography.  However, it is our goal to support and promote fine art photography and the very talented photographers that create these great works.
