Established in 2009, the mission of this NGO is to empower Tanzanian women via education and entrepreneurship. The charity achieves this by offering free classes to adult women in English, Business and Vocational skills.  As well, they support graduates of the program that intend on becoming entrepreneurs by providing them with the capital and professional guidance to start a viable business.

This organization focuses on helping women who face harsh economic challenges and have families to support. Priority is given to single mothers who have only a Primary education and who have a goal of opening a small business. Participants must demonstrate that they have the ability and commitment to attend classes, do homework, and study hard.

Will include documentation of: the stories and experiences of the school participants, staff and former graduates. The images will be used for promotional and fundraising purposes, as well as recruitment of volunteer teachers.



Experience in photo-documentary or photojournalism
Proficient in photography
Respect to cultural sensitivity as you will be working with vulnerable people on sensitive topics
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Adaptable to new and different situations, flexible and patient


Experience in overseas development
Experience travelling abroad in developing nations
