ABOUT THE CHARITY
This Austrian social initiative is dedicated to all refugees worldwide. It is an independent, non-political, non-confessional and social organization facilitating support for refugees and asylum seekers, regardless of their nationality, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation and belief. Some of this organization’s goals include that survivors of the Jewish Exodus overcome their experience, have the opportunity to develop their professional and language skills, and have access to trauma therapists.
The photographer will follow a group of participants on a hike to Krimml - which will include an installation of 49 trees, 2 stones and 1 prism - devoted to Jewish refugees who escaped across the Krimmls Tauern Pass in 1947 and to people engaged in social and refuges aid of the organization described above. The images will be used for the organization’s website (to raise awareness of the issues of flight and migration), fundraising purposes and promotional materials.
