ABOUT THE ngo
This project will involve working with two NGOs, one capacity-building international NGO and one grassroots NGO in Bangladesh, with whom the capacity-building NGO is working. The capacity-building NGO works to make learning and education more accessible by building up programming and infrastructure in local libraries. The grassroots Bangladeshi NGO is a library that has created educational programming for underprivileged youth in its community.
The focus of this project will be documenting this NGO’s work in various project sites in rural Bangladesh. The grassroots-NGO/library requires documentation of the following initiatives: Social development through education (includes drives for food, clothing, and infrastructure repair), economic development through education (includes technical courses, economic support, and educational supplies), and environmental development through education (involves plantation and community clean-up initiatives).
