ABOUT THE CHARITY
The organization’s mission is to enable vulnerable or marginalized children to realize his or her rights, to have all of their basic needs met and an opportunity to develop individual capacity. This organization, with the support of communities, government and civil society representatives – identifies and implements responses to enhance the access to a better future for children in need.
The volunteer will be visiting this organization’s project areas, focusing on uncovering child abuse, substance abuse and child trafficking in Cambodia and the North Thai-Cambodian border. The project will focus on capturing stories about this organization’s work – including, neglected children, street children and children with disabilities (day care centres and vocational training centres, as well as schools). The volunteer with be introduced to the communities where this organization operates, as well as its sister organizations. Photography stories will help the organization showcase their impact, and will be used to raise awareness and fundraise.
