ABOUT THE charity

Founded in 2015,  this NGO’s goals are: 1. To provide the requisite conduit for peace build-ing and reconciliation among communities in Northern Ghana. 2. To lead in the advocacy for social change that will see to the transformation of the North. 3. To inspire the younger generation to get innovative through social entrepreneurial initiatives. 4. To serve as a tool for resolving issues of inequality, whiles protecting and empowering the vulnerable in society. 5. To create an enabling environment to encourage business activities and investment in the northern sector.

PROJECT DETAILS

In particular, this project will focus on documenting several initiatives in various project sites, including a women's leadership group, a weaving program, a culinary program, a mentorship program, and women and youth empowerment initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Experience in photo-documentary or photojournalism

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • Storytelling - Must submit a minimum of one (1) original article 800-1000 words upon completion of the project, to complement the images/footage of this assignment.

  • Adaptable to new and different situations, flexible and patient.

 Desirable

  • Experience in overseas development

  • Experience travelling abroad in developing nations
