ABOUT THE partner

Founded in 2010, this NGO’s mission is to bring secondary school education to the farthest corners of Honduras and empower students to become changemakers. They establish secondary schools in coffee-growing communities where access is incredibly limited due to geographic and economic constraints. They provide scholarships to students attending their schools and provide yearround leadership training.

project DETAILS

The focus will be documenting this NGO’s work based in various Project sites. Specifically it will involve photographing initiatives taking place in the NGO's youth centre as well as classes in schools. The project will also involve documenting students' home life outside of school. The incumbent will also photograph the coffee-growing communities to highlight the connection between coffee-growing and education.



  • Some knowledge of Spanish

  • Enjoys working with children

  • Experience in overseas development

  • Experience travelling abroad in developing nations


  • Experience in photo-documentary or photojournalism

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Adaptable to new and different situations, flexible and patient
