This non-governmental local organization (NGO) provides education enrichment and healthy living programs for children and teens in the north-coast beach community of El Porvenir. Programs include: English and Spanish literacy, computer skills, arts, intro to science, sports and fitness, group skills/conflict resolution, and more.  
The organization/NGO welcomes volunteers, sponsors, and cooperation with like-minded organizations.


The PWB photographer/volunteer will visit various project sites in order to tell the story of the lives of the children in the organization’s program, and why they offer enrichment programs. The main goal will be to show all aspects of the program, tell stories of local children, the vibrant and beautiful community, and communicate the story behind this organization’s mission and vision.The photos will be used for their website, social media and volunteer recruitment sites.



  • Experience in overseas development

  • Experience travelling abroad in developing nations 


  • Proficient in photography/videography

  • Willingness to immerse in local cultures

  • Understanding and appreciation for different cultures and ways of life

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • Open to new experiences  

  • Good sense of humour
