ABOUT THE charity

This NGO’s vision is attainment of healthy, educated and self-reliant community. Their mission is to help alleviate illiteracy, poverty, violence against women, social evils by facilitating empowerment of women and girls from marginalized communities.

Upon arrival at Jaipur airport, the Associate will be introduced to the NGO’s team and go through general orientation. The scope of this project will include visiting the NGO’s major project sites, includes schools, empowerment centres for women, as well as rural areas/project sites. He/she will meet with staff and team for the purpose of interviews and taking photos.  

The images will be used for newsletters, annual reports, social media, other marketing materials.  



  • Storytelling - Must submit a minimum of one (1) original article, 800-1000 words upon completion of the project, to complement the images/footage of this assignment.   

  • Proficient in photo-documentary/photojournalism  

  • Experience using editing software (Photoshop, InDesign) 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills 

  • Adaptable to new and different situations, flexible and patient 

  • Respect to cultural sensitivity  


  • Videography 

  • Experience in overseas development and travelling abroad in developing nations
