Founded in 2007, this NGO provides underprivileged Rajasthani women and girls with an education in English, Hindi and Math.  As well, they provide training in vocational and social skills and support the women in developing confidence and self-esteem as they work towards financial independence.
They specifically work with the Dalit community, who experience discrimination based on caste, class and gender. 


The focus will be documenting this NGO’s work within multiple ongoing projects that align with their goals of increasing education, vocational training and provision of access to medical and legal support within their community served.



  • Some knowledge of the Hindi language would be beneficial
  • Experience in overseas development
  • Experience travelling abroad in developing nations


  • Female applicants only as per the request of the NGO
  • Physical ability to withstand immense heat
  • Experience in photo-documentary or photojournalism
  • Respect to cultural sensitivity as you will be working with vulnerable people on sensitive topics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Adaptable to new and different situations, flexible and patient
