Fundraising manager

Our Fundraising Manager is someone who is experienced in seeking and writing grants, preferably in both US and Canada.

-Displaying adherence to Photographers Without Border's mission
-Maintaining a strong knowledge of Photographers Without Border's history and programs.
-Identifying grant / funding / awards / sponsorship opportunities.
-Writing, submitting, and managing grant / funding proposals.
-Find opportunities for press, placement, and awards, etc.
-Insuring that prospective funders have supporting documents
-Managing records of hard copies and computer databases.
-Apply to a minimum of 1-2 grants every week.
-Submit monthly reports to the Operations Manager
-Complete assignments, goals, and projects week to week.
-Initiative in both independent work and team oriented work.
- Passion for non-profit, storytelling, and making a difference.

-Bachelor’s degree or diploma in creative writing or a related field
-2+ years of grant writing experience
-Able to measure and reach income goals
-Experience with MS Office and Excel
-Background knowledge of fundraising information sources
-Strong communication skills, both in verbal and in writing
-Experience with meeting and adhering to deadlines
-Able to provide us with examples of past opportunities that you’ve provided organizations with.

Time Commitment:
Volunteer Position
10 hours a week (work from home) + mandatory weekly meetings every Wednesday at 6:30
Is expected to maintain communication throughout the week with the team and regularly update Operations Manager.
