This organization seeks to produce high quality affordable bamboo products which have both economic and social benefit to customers around the world. The main goal of this social enterprise is to help improve the social development of underprivileged people in rural communities by providing them with educational and economic opportunities. They also help promote the use of bamboo to lead to climate change mitigation, since bamboo absorbs carbon and emits more oxygen than any other plant.

The volunteer will help retell the organization’s story with the focus on how they effectively work on alleviating poverty among the rural villages through educational and economic transformation. The project will include quite a bit of travel to various rural communities to document what is being done.
