ABOUT THE PARTNER PROJECT
This NGO’s aims to enhance the lives of children across East Africa by developing children’s learning opportunities and their environment, whilst providing valuable employment. The NGO’s objectives include training young adults in Uganda to become professional builders and welders, and then to use their new sills to build high quality playgrounds across Uganda.
The Associate/photographer will visit the NGO’s offices in Jinja and meet office staff and volunteers. He/she will also visit the NGO’s project sites and workshops to learn about how playgrounds are made. Accompanied by the NGO’s team, he/she will also visit several schools, meet teachers and children and discuss impact of playground and play and training. This project also includes camping activities. The materials will be used to promote the NGO’s work in funding bids, marketing materials, and their website and social media.

Storytelling - Must submit a minimum of one (1) article 800-1000 words upon completion of the project, to complement the images/footage of this assignment.
