This non-governmental local organization (NGO) aims to help the people out of poverty by giving them the confidence, education and skills to solve their own problems. Their projects focus on education and teaching basic computing skills, healthcare, providing training sessions for mothers in preventative health, AIDS, sexual health, and helping improve the supply of clean water.

The volunteer/photographer will spend time with the NGO staff members and volunteers, and visit several project sites. He/she will document the organization’s work and programs – as well as show conditions in the nearby areas, the sort of education that is available to poor people to contrast it with what is being achieved through this organization’s efforts.
