ABOUT THE CHARITY

This non-governmental local organization (NGO) works on creating lasting solutions to poverty, unemployment, poor sanitation and weak academic performance. The organization provides socio-economic empowerment to youths and women; as well as counseling about medication, treatment and care to people living with HIV/AIDS. 

PROJECT DETAILS

The volunteer/photographer will spend time with the NGO staff members and volunteers, and visit several project sites, in order to capture the organization’s work and programs. The main focus of the project will be to help the organization showcase their work and extend their help to other regions. The photos will be used for their website, Facebook and annual report. 

QUALIFICATIONS

 Desirable

  • Experience in overseas development
  • Experience traveling abroad in developing nations

Essential

  • Proficient in photography/videography

  • Willingness to immerse in local cultures

  • Understanding and appreciation for different cultures and ways of life

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • Open to new experiences
