ABOUT THE ngo

Established in 2015, this NGO’s mission is to equip a new generation of change leaders from the backyards of society with ideas and skills necessary to sustainably accelerate social change through innovation and cultural transformation.

PROJECT DETAILS

The photographer will be introduced to the NGO’s Founder and staff. He/she will interview the NGO’s program participants in order to document their personal transformative stories, as well as the NGO’s initiatives. The images (and possibly videos) will be used on the organization’s website and social media platforms, as well as to help the organization create more awareness about their programs.  
The organization would also like to participate in the PWB Scholar Program, which aims to further their impact by training individuals in storytelling for change within the communities they serve.  

QUALIFICATIONS

 Desirable

  • Experience in overseas development and travelling in developing nations

Essential

  • Proficient in photo-documentary/photojournalism (and videography) 

  • Experience using editing software (Photoshop, InDesign) 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills 

  • Open to new experiences
