ABOUT THE PARTNER PROJECT
This NGO’s mission is to provide financial and technical support for the advancement of status of women in Mongolia through mobilization of funds and resources, knowledge and skills. Their goals include reducing gender-based inequality and discrimination, supporting women for good governance, accountability, and transparency, empowering girls and young women, strengthening women’s movement and increasing women’s participation at decision-making levels, supporting most vulnerable groups, as well as tackling climate change.
PROJECT DETAILS
The NGO requires photography (and video) services. The images (and videos) will be used for fundraising events in order to promote their activities, as well as social media and the NGO’s website. The focus will be documenting this NGO’s work based in several project sites (in Ulaanbaatar), including Center Against Violence, Social Services Centre and Parents of Children with Disabilities Center. The photographer (and videographer) will also will also visit the NGO’s project sites in Arkhangai aimag, in order to document the negative impacts of mining, air and soil pollutions.

Essential
Proficient in photo-documentary/photojournalism
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Respect to cultural sensitivity as you will be working with vulnerable populations
Adaptable to new and different situations
Desirable
- Experience in overseas development
