ABOUT THE charity

This non-governmental local organization is a survivor-led organization. Their mission is to end the physical and sexual exploitation of women and girls, ensure their legal rights and empower them to live free and dignified lives. Their goals include eradication of human trafficking and re-integration of human trafficking survivors into society as respected members of the community. The organization works to increase women’s access to justice and systematic change within the legal system.

The PWB videographer/volunteer will visit various project sites (and programs – such as School Awareness Program, Paralegal and Community Outreach), in order to document the work of the NGO. The visual media will be used to create social change and to amplify the voice of the vulnerable women and girls, to attract attention of policy makers to the issues of human trafficking and to provide awareness on the issues of human trafficking and gender inequality.
