ABOUT THE PARTNER PROJECT
This nonprofit organization provides professional development opportunities for teachers. With a STEM focus, they send educators to build meaningful, long-term partnership with other teachers in schools around the world. Their programs emphasize a culturally relevant, student-centered approach to education as well as respect for each community’s learning goals.
The photographer will visit both Kathmandu and Pokhara, in order to document the organization’s programs in Nepal. The images will be use in a variety of ways, including: printed materials to give to current and potential donors to enhance fundraising efforts, social media posts, website, slideshows at fundraising/volunteer recruitment events, academic presentations and professional meetings.
Proficient in photo-documentary/photojournalism
Experience using editing software (Photoshop, InDesign)
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Open to new experiences
Experience in overseas development
Note: As per the NGO, you should expect approximately $320 out of pocket expenses based on your food and recreational preferences.
