Nuruddin Qorane is a journalist and audio storyteller whose work has touched on themes of displacement, diasporic experiences and music. After living in East Africa for 2 years documenting his experiences and the stories of those in the region, Nuruddin decided to pursue a Bachelor of Journalism at Ryerson University. He’s dedicated to using visual and audio mediums to tell the stories of racial, sexual and religious minorities ignored by mainstream media. Nuruddin feels it is his calling to help bridge the gaps of understanding as he’s met and lived with people on different levels of the socio-economic ladder. When Nuruddin is not creating communication strategies he can be found producing for BanTOR Radio or cycling through the streets of Toronto.
