Prativa holds a bachelor of science from McGill University and a master’s degree in epidemiology from Columbia University. She recently moved to Toronto to work for a global health think tank, combining her passion for research and global health. An avid reader, an aspiring writer, a cafe-enthusiast and an optimist all around, she hopes to assist in giving a voice to the voiceless and adding faces to the statistics through her involvement with PwB.
Her commitment to global health and social advocacy emerged through her ongoing work with refugees in Quebec and involvement with grassroots organizations. She is particularly interested in the intersection of health and human rights and the use of arts to promote social change.
