ABOUT THE PARTNER PROJECT

This NGO’s mission is to create a safe space for the vulnerable, especially street children, and to create a world where all vulnerable children fulfill their potential and grow up to become valuable community members. This organization’s programs cover the working field of: personal/character development, educational support, parent’s involvement. 

PROJECT DETAILS

The photographer (and videographer) will be introduced to the organization’s team, visit their major project sites – including Children’s Centre and schools. He/she will interview and photograph the team members and children during programming. The photos will be used for the NGO’s website, promotional materials, and for partnership purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Proficient in photo-documentary/photojournalism

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • Respect to cultural sensitivity as you will be working with vulnerable populations  

  • Adaptable to new and different situations 

  • Storytelling - Must submit a minimum of one (1) article 800-1000 words upon completion of the project, to complement the images/footage of this assignment.

 Desirable

  • Experience in overseas development

Note: As per the NGO, you should expect approximately $320 out of pocket expenses based on your food and recreational preferences.
