ABOUT THE PARTNER PROJECT
Founded in 2014, this NGO’s mission is to strengthen and motivate the community through capacity-building and empowerment to actively be engaged in social-economic development in order to realize a high quality livelihood for all.
PROJECT DETAILS
The focus will be documenting this NGO’s work based in various Project sites in the Moshi/Kilimanjaro area. Specifically it will involve photographing the following projects:Child education initiatives, volunteer training and network-building initiatives, women empowerment and gender parity initiatives, and conservation initiatives in the Serengeti.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
Experience in photo-documentary or photojournalism
Proficient in videography
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Storytelling - Must submit a minimum of one (1) original article 800-1000 words upon completion of the project, to complement the images/footage of this assignment.
Adaptable to new and different situations, flexible and patient
Desirable
Experience in overseas development
Experience travelling abroad in developing nations
