This NGO’s aims to enhance the lives of children across East Africa by developing children’s learning opportunities and their environment, whilst providing valuable employment. The NGO’s objectives include training young adults in Uganda to become professional builders and welders, and then to use their new skills to build high quality playgrounds across Uganda.

The photographer will visit the NGO’s offices in Jinja and meet office staff and volunteers. The photographer will also visit the NGO’s project sites and workshops to learn about how playgrounds are made. Accompanied by the NGO’s team, they will also visit several schools, meet teachers and children and discuss the impact of playgrounds, play and training. This project also includes camping activities.
The materials will be used to promote the NGO’s work in funding bids, marketing materials, their website and social media, as well as featured by PWB. Your job is to demonstrate the impact of the NGO through your storytelling and help convey to donors and grant programs that their work is worthy of financial support. Your images should tell a story that highlights community members and the NGO’s mission to train youth while promoting play.
