ABOUT THE charity
This NGO’s mission is to build a democratic society in Ukraine – free from discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity. They work to ensure equal rights for all representatives of the LGBT+ community in Ukraine, and to harmonize relations between parents and their LGBT children via education, raising awareness, psychological support and human rights advocacy.
The NGO hopes to create a photobook, as well as a photo exhibition, presenting stories of parents and families of LGBT+ people. The photographer will visit several projects sites (in three different cities) on order to document the issues related to LGBT+ community in Ukraine (including those that have been internally displaced, face discrimination, rejection, unemployment and are in precarious housing situation).

Storytelling - Must submit a minimum of one (1) article 800-1000 words upon completion of the project, to complement the images/footage of this assignment.
