ABOUT our community PARTNER
This NGO’s mission is to be there for those who need help because they believe in good and are guided by three values: humanness, honesty and efficiency. They work to ensure that seriously ill children in Ukraine could receive the best treatment available, by doing their best to fill the gaps left by the government, and to relieve the side effects of the disease and its treatment. The organization also organizes and continues fund the psychological service for the patients, as well the rehabilitation service at the Institute of Cancer; purchases medical equipment and instruments, renovates the departments; and organizes hospital school and recreational activities for children.

The photographer will be working on documenting the NGO’s work; he/she will visit the organization’s main project site – a cottage where families from all over Ukraine stay during cancer treatment in Kyiv. You will also visit several hospitals, interview staff, volunteers and families. The materials will be used for presentations – showcasing the NGO’s work around psychological and rehabilitation services. The photos will be used for their website, social media, campaigns and crowd-funding platforms, reports and thank you letters for donors, exhibitions, publications, and to help the organization reach out to potential volunteers.
