Earlier this year, we partnered with Sony Canada to create a scholarship that would help empower the next generation of storytellers. Together we recognized the power of thought-provoking storytelling and imagery, along with our shared responsibility to create opportunities for our future leaders that would help build the skills they need to change our world.
Today, we’re proud to announce the winner of our first-ever Sony Scholarship—Eli Farinango!
As our winner, Eli will be attending PWB’s Storytelling School in Sumatra, Indonesia, where she’ll develop her storytelling skills under the mentorship of Danielle Da Silva and document Indigenized orangutan and elephant conservation.
Eli, we can’t wait to see the stories that you create and the impact you’ll have on this world.
