We invite you to join us as we explore what “storytelling for change” really looks like. With different screenings, workshops and events happening each month, there’s always something to dive into.

STORYTELLING FOR CHANGE

NEXT SESSION:

Wednesday, January 7 @ 12:00 PM ET

Join us for our first Storytelling For Change session of the year, where we’ll dive into the personal work of our guest speakers and hear about their experience traveling to India to document the work of Sambhali Trust through our Storytelling School. We’ll explore what they learned, how the journey shaped their creative practice, and the stories that stayed with them long after returning home.

Our guests, Pooja Mehta, Jill Broussard and Sarah Hubbard, bring a wealth of insight and heart to this conversation.

Pooja is an attorney, entrepreneur, and advisor dedicated to advancing economic justice. As Founder of The Marigold Effect and Of Counsel at Gilmore Khandhar, she supports mission-driven businesses and community-focused initiatives. Her background spans child welfare law, small-business leadership, entrepreneurship programs, and impact investing—all grounded in her commitment to reimagining financial and business systems that prioritize long-term, community-centered prosperity.

Sarah is a communications professional at an architecture and design firm and an avid amateur photographer. With a background in politics and social anthropology, she is driven by a deep interest in people and the stories that shape their lives. She also supports young people in her South London community, serving as a primary school governor and as a Youth Justice Panel Chair with the Brixton Youth Offending Service.

Jill Broussard is a visual storyteller working across stills and motion. Her work is rooted in a deep curiosity about people—what moves them, what grounds them, and what brings them joy. Jill creates environments where others feel at ease, using humor, empathy, and sensory connection to build genuine moments.

Together, Pooja, Jill and Sarah will share reflections from their time in India, the relationships they built, and the power of storytelling rooted in trust, dignity, and respect.
